My fees are currently $200.00/hour. I have found that in most cases the hourly fee is more cost-effective for the client than a flat fee. If a flat fee is charged, it must be set high in order for the attorney to avoid spending an inordinate amount of time on some files, with the result that some clients end up subsidizing other clients' services.

The following are indications of the ranges of the fees usually charged for the services described at the hourly rate stated above. These are not estimates. An estimate may be obtained after an initial consultation. The following do not include the cost of recording deeds or other instruments, court costs or other out-of-pocket expenses.

The services I provide are so varied that they could hardly all be listed. The following include some of the most popular services I offer. If you are interested in services not listed below, please inquire. Chances are good I can be of service.

Simple Will $ 175.00 - $300.00

Joint Revocable Living Trust (to avoid probate) $500.00 - $1,750.00. The major variable is the number of assets which must be transferred to the trust.

Credit Shelter Trusts (to avoid unnecessary estate tax) $1,200.00 - 2,500.00. The major variable is the number of assets which must be transferred to the trusts.

Special Needs Trust $500.00 - $750.00

Income Cap Trust $750.00 - $1,200.00

Probate $1,500.00 and up

Small Estate Affidavit $300.00 - 1,000.00.

Guardianship Approximately $1,500.00 to establish, uncontested. Contested: hourly.

Conservatorship Approximately $1,500.00 to establish, uncontested. Contested: hourly. Annual accountings: hourly

Power of Attorney $40.00
